Great spot for a party
A Mo from Citysearch   2010-03-25T04:35:12-07:00
I recently had my rehearsal dinner for 60 guests at Chin Chin in Brentwood. They have a fantastic indoor/outdoor patio that we were going to use to host our event. Unfortunately, it rained A LOT the evening of our event and the roll-away…
Chin Chin

This place is kind of like pick up sticks, but better and more pricey. Over all, the food is pretty good and affordable
Great Chinese Chicken Salad
antonioferre from Citysearch   2008-02-19T09:14:59-08:00
Great Chinese Chicken Salad. Get the best value "dim sum and then sum". I used to go to the original location on Sunset but stopped going since they changed the layout and menu. I hoped this location's Chicken held up to the original…
Shrimp Toast
cherryberry03 from Citysearch   2007-11-17T13:26:16-08:00
Went on a sunday afternoon...delicious shrimp toast and dumplings. I preferred the appetizers more than the entrees. I would drive down from LB just for the toast and dumplings. YUM!
GROSS!
jolie714 from Citysearch   2007-10-19T17:33:29-07:00
I've never been to the actual restaurant, we just had delivery and it was disgusting. We had the honey glazed spicy shrimp and there was an inch of uncooked batter on the outside of the shrimp. The food quality is terrible! Price does not…
The best affordable Chinese restaurant.
reallime from Citysearch   2007-06-22T05:04:48-07:00
Chin Chin is combination of authentic Chinese food and ?American Style? service. I like all the changes that have made in the Brentwood location. The patio is perfect for late night dinners.
Cool lunch spot, neat patio
dmenkes from Citysearch   2006-11-15T09:11:21-08:00
I really like their dim sum and chinese chicken salad, but what sets this Chin Chin's apart from the Marina Del Rey location is the view. There's a valet that's 90 minutes free with validation. The patio is nice but I felt a bit…
Great Chinese Chicken Salad and Szechuan Dumplings!
primojade from Citysearch   2006-11-14T13:21:21-08:00
OK...so this is not authentic Chinese fare...but it'll do in a pinch! The Chinese Chicken salad is very good as are the Szechuan Dumplings. If you like spicy noodles, try the Anthony's Noodles...very tasty! The ribs are good too and if…
Rude wait staff. Aweful management!
sunsetdrive from Citysearch   2006-08-27T17:00:00-07:00
Chin Chin offers tasty Chinese cuisine, HOWEVER awful customer service. The waiters at the restaurant on Sunset in West Hollywood act as though they are doing their customer a favor by waiting on them. I ordered the Pad Thai. The…
Good for a quick, rather greasy, meal
cutiekatie from Citysearch   2006-07-02T17:00:00-07:00
I love Chinese food, but hate spending an arm and a leg for a spring roll. Chin Chin has great prices (especially the Dim Sum and Then Sum menu). The food is decent for inexpensive chinese, but I have to admit the vegetables are better…
STAY AWAY!
timoco from Citysearch   2006-05-23T10:07:07-07:00
This place was awful. Granted the pot stickers were good. Other than that, the chicken and beef in our entrées was the lowest quality one was horribly undercooked. And in another, as noted in a review below, the shrimp portion of…
Great lunch spot
dymphnix from Citysearch   2006-04-02T17:00:00-07:00
A friend that lives in the area took us to Chin Chin for lunch while we were visiting him in LA. The food was pretty tasty and the portions were generous. I did have some trouble eating because I was too shocked that Jessica Simpson was…
Chinese chicken salad
rachel r. from Judy'sBook   2006-03-21T20:04:13-08:00
Chin Chin offers California-ized Chinese cuisine. It's hard to order anything else when they are famous for their divine Chinese Chicken Salad with the best ginger dressing. spring rolls come with a wonderful apricot dipping sauce. …
Middle of the Road Restaurant
goonly from Citysearch   2005-10-22T17:00:00-07:00
Before going I searched citysearch and epinions about this restaurant. People were really split. Half the people hated it and half loved it. Didn't know what to expect. Well it felt like a POOR MAN'S PF CHANGS. There certainly were…
Great Place for Lunch
Daniel r. from Judy'sBook   2005-08-25T23:24:35-07:00
This restaurant is wonderful dumblings and chinese chicken salad. I go there sunday. I love the service and food. You should try it. Chin Chin is your neighborhood chinese cafe; a bustling, friendly place. We honor special requests-…
American Chinese food
Yuchun M. from Judy'sBook   2005-08-20T00:15:13-07:00
Typical Americanized versions of Chinese food. But still a nice restaurant, maybe for lunch or take out. But it is a little bit pricy for the chinese food in LA. If you want to try the chinese food in original flavor, I think it is better…
sucks!
milleee from Citysearch   2005-07-12T04:51:03-07:00
One of the worse chinese food i've ever had! Definitely over priced for bad tasting food. Doesn't deserve to be on the "Best Of" list!
chin chin's dim sum sucks
yingxi140 from Citysearch   2005-05-29T07:35:32-07:00
The dim sum selection is VERY limited and is EXPENSIVE. They do not serve dim sum in the carts and you have to order. I waited for at least 15 minutes for 3 dim sum orders. The Potsticker was allright. The Spinach dumpling was NOT…
Suprisingly good
chains007 from Citysearch   2005-03-08T16:00:00-08:00
I came here expecting the typical Americanized versions of Chinese food but was suprised to find some genuine dishes. The beef and tomato over rice was delicious as are all the stir fry vegetable dishes. Great place for takeout too.
Chin Chin is a Steal!
mrbiscotti from Citysearch   2005-02-24T16:00:00-08:00
This place is unbelievable! I recently stumbled into Chin Chin in Brentwood after many years out of town. I couldn't believe the upscale look at dinnner. Cloth napkins, candlelit tables, a heated patio. I thought, boy the prices must have…
