i used to go to the restaurant all the time when I lived near it. It is normally one of my favorites! However, getting food delivered from here was a bad choice. It took over an our and everything was cold and soggy when it arrived. Will…
the best rolls in L.A.
orangebang from Citysearch   2010-06-08T05:35:27-07:00
I've been going here for nearly 10 years. While their regular sushi may not be up to par, their rolls are the best. What I like the most is that any of their spicy mixtures (spicy tuna, yellowtail, salmon, scallops) tastes like hawaiin…

Good sushi for a quick lunch. Friends and I will come in here for a quick lunch and it does provide great sushi for the price. Not sure if I would say its the best sushi i have had in Los Angeles but it is very good.
Really great sushi

Located on Santa Monica Blvd, California Roll Factory is in a congested area with a lot of restaurants and sushi places nearby. If you are lucky you can find street parking or metered parking outside! I have tried a lot of sushi places…

If you are a sushi snob, don't come here. It will be your worst nightmare! With a name beginning with "California Roll," you can bet everything inside is Americanized. Not genuine Japanese cuisine AT ALL. Now that we got that out of…
Americanized, but Yummy Sushi!

I love this place and everyone I bring here becomes a HUGE fan!!! The portions are HUGE - i mean HUUUUUGE!!! and the prices are super cheap!! I can get like a salad, miso soup and 3 rolls for 30 bucks!! WOOOO! When you go, get the Kinta,…
Not Good Sushi
jnrcal from Citysearch   2007-11-20T02:31:33-08:00
My friend who absolutely loves this place took me there last night, I was NOT impressed whatsoever. While the portions are huge, that is not appealing when it comes to sushi. I order the rainbow roll and it looked like it was literally…

The Best Sushi Ever!

California roll factory is awesome! It's a little hole in the wall place on Santa Monica Blvd, but it has the best sushi in the world for the value. They have cute, creative names for the sushi, they also have unexpected combinations, and…
Best Sushi in Town ---> I give it a 10
mycul71 from Citysearch   2007-01-04T10:30:33-08:00
Big cuts, quality fish, and creative rolls...what more needs to be said. I give it a 10! The salmon is amazing but then again so is the albacore and the yellowtail and tuna. I could go on forever but let me give you my recommendation as…

Man, I love this little place. The walls are covered with colorful slips of paper filled with rolls the customers have created and named. Be on the lookout for the 420 roll with SMOKED Salmon - hehehe. The selection is a bit overwhelming,…

My roommate and I used to go here a lot and I can't believe it's been over a year since I went. I completely agree with all the other reviews - don't be deterred by the store's name. Personally, I especially like the yellowtail, but…
Da Bomb
sitcomaddict from Citysearch   2005-04-29T18:56:40-07:00
I highly recommend Da Bomb. I drive from the Valley a couple times a month just to eat this favorite of mine. It's minced crab, salmon tempura, and avocado wrapped in soybean paper. It's so big that one roll is filling.
Best little secret in town for sushi
davidsigep from Citysearch   2005-04-18T17:00:00-07:00
My friends and I enjoy hitting the plethora of sushi restaurants that grace the westside. It won't win awards for ambience, but the food is to die for. Without a doubt, this is our favorite for rolls. Don't let the name of the restaurant…
Great value
chains007 from Citysearch   2005-03-08T16:07:34-08:00
Great place for reasonably priced sushi. Of course, you get what you pay for - it's certainly not the best, but if you're on a budget or in a rush and have a craving, it's the place to go. Usually very easy to get a seat, and they have…

Come to California Roll Factory to create your own rolls! or try one of the ones posted on the walls by previous customers. Don't expect traditional sushi though. This place is more known for their creative sushi rolls. For instance,…
